Markets in a Minute: Imugene shines, AUB Group sinks

The ASX200 kicked off the month on a lower note, dropping down 0.57%.

A number of ASX shares were suspended from trade earlier today due to an announcement outage.

Energy managed to stay afloat, but only just - the sector shot up around half a per cent - whilst IT and healthcare took a big hit - both shedding around 1.5 per cent.

Imugene had a strong run after reporting an 82% overall response rate in its Phase 1b trial of azer-cel for aggressive blood cancer.

Greatland Resources also shot up after completing its Feasibility Study for the Havieron gold-copper project, with projected steady-state output of 266,000 ounces of gold and 9,600 tonnes of copper per year.

The ASX took a big dive after a system outage suspended multiple announcements, with the exchange now processing updates and apologising for the disruption.

AUB Group plunged after EQT and CVC walked away from a $45 per share takeover offer. The company is now refocusing on organic growth and acquisitions.
