CVS Health reports Q3 earnings beat, raises full-year guidance

CVS Health Corp (NYSE:CVS) reported third quarter 2025 financial results on Wednesday, posting both revenue and adjusted earnings per share (EPS) above Wall Street expectations.

For the quarter, CVS reported total revenue of $102.9 billion, up 7.8% from the same period last year and exceeding the consensus estimate of $98.29 billion.

Adjusted EPS came in at $1.60, surpassing the analyst consensus of $1.36 and up from $1.09 in the third quarter of 2024.

The company’s GAAP results included a $5.7 billion goodwill impairment charge related to the Health Care Delivery reporting unit, resulting in a GAAP loss per share of $3.13.

For full-year 2025, CVS updated its guidance, raising adjusted EPS to a range of $6.55 to $6.65 from its earlier guidance range of $6.30 to $6.40, above the analyst consensus of $6.38.

Cash flow from operations is now expected in a range of $7.5 billion to $8 billion.

“We are making progress on our journey to be America's most trusted health care company,” CVS Health CEO David Joyner said in a statement. “Our strong Enterprise performance demonstrates the continued focus we have on operational and financial improvement across our businesses."

Shares of CVS Health added 1% at about $83 post-earnings.
