OnlyFans posts record payout ahead of potential $7 billion sale

OnlyFans, the UK-based streaming platform popular with adult creators and celebrities, has paid a record $701 million in dividends ahead of a possible sale that could value the company at up to $7 billion, according to filings at Companies House reported by the Financial Times.

Owned by Ukrainian-American entrepreneur Leonid Radvinsky, the group reported pre-tax profit of $684 million on revenue of $1.4 billion for the year to 30 November 2024.

Subscriber payments rose to $7.2 billion, with creators receiving $5.8 billion, or 80% of the total, as user numbers surged. Creator accounts grew 13% to 4.6 million, while fan accounts reached 377.5 million.

Radvinsky, who bought the platform in 2018, received $497 million in dividends during the year, with a further $204 million paid since.

Chief executive Keily Blair told the FT the group is expanding into new genres and investing in safety tools.
