LSEG price presents ‘an attractive entry point’ - analyst

London Stock Exchange Group PLC (LSE:LSEG) current share price makes for an attractive entry point, that’s according to analysts at UBS.

The Swiss bank cited ‘investor rotations’ and the LSEG’s exposure to the US dollar as reasons for the stock’s softish price.

Its ‘Buy’ rating meanwhile comes with a £136 price target, suggesting some 20% upside to the current price of £112.76. Nevertheless, UBS's target is clipped from £140.

LSEG shares are close to 3% lower since its results at the end of February.

The exchange operator and data company declared a full year dividend of 130p, which was 5% higher than expectations. As well as the buyback, which is to be completed in the first half of the year, LSEG promising a further update at interim results "depending on other uses of capital."

Final results for 2024 showed revenues up up 6% to £8.5 billion and profit before tax up 5% to £1.3 billion.
