Thruvision shares plunge 40% as cash concerns trigger strategic review

Thruvision Group’s shares fell 40% after the company announced a strategic review, including a potential sale, amid mounting cash pressures.

The security technology provider revealed that its current £1.5m cash balance is expected to sustain operations only until May, assuming no major customer orders materialise.

While the company is hopeful of securing £15m in potential contracts by March 2026, no purchase orders have been confirmed.

The board is exploring options to maximise shareholder value, such as raising equity, seeking a strategic partner, licensing technology, or selling the company via a formal sale process.

Thruvision has appointed Raymond James and Investec Bank as financial advisers for the review.

In early afternoon trading, the stock was off 2.65p at 3.85p.
