Technology Minerals rises on MoD deal

Technology Minerals PLC (LSE:TM1) shares were up as much as 30% earlier in the session after announcing a new deal with the Ministry of Defence (MOD) for its LiBox battery storage solution.

Delivered through its 48.35%-owned Recyclus Group, the LiBox units are designed to safely store and transport lithium-ion batteries, commonly found in devices like smartphones, laptops, and electric vehicles.

The LiBox meets the highest global safety standards and is UN-certified for transporting hazardous materials. With a 20kWh power rating, it minimises the risk of fires or accidents, ensuring safe handling of these batteries.

In morning trading the stock had retraced some of its gains, rising 2.5% to 0.10p.
