Prospector Kristy McMullen and partner Patrick have unearthed a “massive” 4kg semi-precious stone at a Western Australia mine site.
McMullen told Yahoo Australia that the size of the stone, valued at $3,500, made it quite a rare Australian find.

In a social media post, she said, “It is by far the largest single point we have unearthed at the amethyst mine while we have been here.”
