Aclara Resources' Penco Module EIA application accepted for evaluation

Aclara Resources Inc (TSX:ARA, OTC:ARAAF) has announced that its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application for the Penco Module has been confirmed as admissible by the Environmental Service Assessment (SEA) in Concepción, Chile. This follows a five-business day review period.

An extract of the EIA was published in the Official Gazette on June 22, 2024, initiating a 60-business-day citizenship participation process.

Concurrently, the initial technical review is underway, expected to last about 30 business days. The EIA evaluation period is anticipated to span approximately 18 months.

Aclara’s chief executive, Ramon Barua, expressed the company’s dedication to cooperating with SEA throughout the evaluation process.

Projects include the Penco Module in Chile and the Carina Module in Brazil.
