Black Sheep Coffee, founded in the London borough of Camden, is reportedly eyeing up a US stock market listing in what could be the latest blow for the City of London.
The coffee shop chain is currently raising £15 million in order to ramp up its expansion plans, as per hospitality newsletter Propel.
These include opening stores in the US to add to its 82 sites in the UK and moving further into the UAE.
Such plans also include exploring an initial public offering across the Atlantic "soon", the newsletter said.
London has faced repeated blows in recent months as firms, including UK-based chipmaker Arm was re-listed in New York and building materials giant CRH relocated listings to the States in search of higher valuations.
