Infinity Lithium Corporation Ltd (ASX:INF)'s general manager corporate affairs Justin Samulski sat down with Proactive's Tom Warner in the London studio to discuss the recent announcement by the Regional Government of Extremadura in Spain reinforcing its commitment to the development of lithium projects in the region.
The government has strengthened its resolve to facilitate lithium mineral processing in response to modifications made to the Extremadura Lithium Decree Law which annul expropriation provisions and the requirement for all lithium exploited within the region to be further processed into battery-grade lithium chemicals.
To that end, stimulus measures that provide competitive advantages and issue legal guarantees to exploration companies for greater security will be put in place, allowing Infinity to continue to progress its world class lithium project.
