Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership with Web3’s earliest and biggest social network, CyberConnect, to build a decentralised social layer for the company's NFT-collection called the Mocaverse.
Under the agreement, CyberConnect’s smart account infrastructure CyberAccount will power the identity layer of Mocaverse, offering companies in the Animoca Brands’ portfolio the opportunity to build their own social graph and power interoperable user experiences across games, products, and services.
Both parties will lay out an industry model with this upcoming Web3 social network that can lay the foundation for a new primitive in building consumer products and applications that empower users to travel across their favourite applications without recreating their networks.
In the coming months, Animoca Brands will roll out support for CyberAccount across Mocaverse, allowing users to bring their friends, fans, followers and connections with them to their favourite applications.
Web3’s earliest and biggest social network
CyberConnect is Web3’s earliest and biggest social network that enables developers to create social applications utilizing ERC-4337/Account Abstraction, empowering users to own their digital identity, content, connections and interactions.
Founded by a Silicon Valley-based serial entrepreneurial team in 2021, there are already more than 50 projects that are using CyberConnect to build social features for real-world use cases, such as community-owned social networks, marketplaces, content curation, discovery tools and more.
