Jack Henry & Associates Inc (NASDAQ:JKHY) shares were down around 5% ahead of Wednesday's open despite reporting quarterly results that beat Wall Street expectations.
The payment processing company last night posted fourth-quarter net income of $97.8 million, $1.34 per share, topping projections of $1.19 per share.
Revenue was $534.6 million in the period, also beating Street forecasts of $511.3 million.
Looking ahead, Jack Henry expects its 2024 fiscal year to deliver earnings between $4.92 and $4.99 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.21 billion to $2.23 billion.
However, its operating margin guidance of 22.1% to 22.2% seemed to leave something to be desired after the company posted a 23% in fiscal 2023.
Shares of Jack Henry slid more than 6% to $158.
