Big Picture – A Deep Dive Examination of Directa Plus PLC

Directa Plus PLC Snapshot

Corporate Overview

Directa Plus has developed a proprietary scalable, modular manufacturing process to produce and supply high quality engineered graphene materials – marketed under its ‘Graphene Plus’ (G+) brand – which can be used by third parties in a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. The production facility is capable of producing up to 30 tonnes per annum of graphene-based products, which the Directors believe is the largest European pristine graphene nanoplatelets production plant.

Our graphene products have already been incorporated into various commercial applications in the smart textiles, elastomers, composite materials and environmental sectors. Key customers include Vittoria, which has incorporated Directa Plus’ graphene technology to produce high-performance bicycle tyres and wheels, and Colmar, the high-end Italian sportswear and activewear company, that has produced a graphene-enhanced range of clothing which includes ski suits now being worn in competitions by the French national ski team.

G+ Technology

How does G+ enhance the performance of consumer and industrial products?

Depending on the application, products that contain G+ may be stronger, more absorbent, able to conduct heat and electricity better, or enjoy properties such as a barrier effect, low friction and better resistance to wear. (Read more about these properties below.)
