About the company
Surefire Resources NL (ASX:SRN) is a base metals focused company with exploration assets in Western Australia.

How it is doing
Surefire Resources NL (ASX:SRN) has revealed encouraging results from a recent soil geochemical survey undertaken southeast and along strike from the Yidby Gold Deposit within the southern portion of the Yalgoo-Singleton Greenstone Belt in Western Australia.
The company’s mobile metal ion (MMI) soil geochemical results have been finalised and returned from SGS laboratories in Perth comprising a total of 520 samples over a 100 x 25-metre grid with a peak value of 29.1 ppb gold.
Three new gold targets have been generated, including the newly defined ‘Money Anomaly’ (T1), which is a large northwest trending 1,000 x 250-metre area of gold in soil anomalism.
Surefire managing director Vladimir Nikolaenko said: “We are very excited to define such a large gold geochemical anomaly directly along strike and across the road from the Yidby Gold Deposit.
Surefire Resources NL (ASX:SRN) is on its way to restart drilling at the Yidby Gold Deposit, testing a 400-metre-wide mineralised shear corridor within Western Australia’s southern Murchison District.
Although poor weather conditions, drill rig and labour shortages have hampered exploration in recent months, as much as 2,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling is scheduled to kick off from September 1 to test and extend the Yidby Road prospect’s gold mineralisation.
Surefire Resources NL's (ASX:SRN) (FRA:GBL) re-processing and interpretation of geophysical data has identified the potential for a large intrusive related silver-lead to copper-gold system immediately along strike from its very-high grade Kooline Silver-Lead-Copper Project in Western Australia.
The tenements include the previously mined high-grade lead-silver +/- copper lodes of the Kooline Mineral Field where previous rock chip sampling of exposed lode structures produced grades of up to 55.3% lead and 249 g/t silver from the Bilrose workings and up to 2.62% copper and 12% lead from the Phar Lap workings.
Insight: Surefire Resources' scoping study points to low capital Perenjori operation...
Surefire Resources NL’s (ASX:SRN) (FRA:GBL) scoping study for Perenjori Iron Project in Western Australia has verified the project's economic potential, pointing to a low capital operation producing premium high-grade magnetite concentrate.
The scoping study, which was undertaken by MinRizon Projects Pty Ltd, gives the board comfort to progress the project with managing director Vladimir Nikolaenko stating: “Surefire is delighted with the outcome of the scoping study."
