About the company

White Rock Minerals (ASX:WRM) owns the Red Mountain project in central Alaska – a high-grade silver-zinc-gold-lead VMS and gold IRGS project – and the advanced Mt Carrington gold-silver project in New South Wales.

Red Mountain has a resource estimate of 9 million tonnes grading 157 g/t silver, 5.8% zinc and 2.6% lead.

Mt Carrington is underpinned by a resource estimate of more than 352,000 ounces of gold and 23 million ounces of silver.

White Rock Minerals Ltd (ASX:WRM, OTCQX:WRMCF)’s initial results from surface sampling at Pepper Prospect, around five kilometres west and along strike from the Last Chance target in Alaska, point to a new gold discovery.

Rock chip sampling at the prospect returned up to 6.5 g/t gold, indicating an Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) within the prolific Tintina Gold Province.

Tintina is host to giant gold deposits including Donlin Creek (45 million ounces), Pogo (10 million ounces) and Fort Knox (13.5 million ounces).

According to the company, mineralization extends over one kilometre of strike east-west and is open-ended.

White Rock Minerals Ltd (ASX:WRM, OTCQX:WRMCF) has finalised its merger with former ASX-lister AuStar Gold, bringing a large, underexplored land package and a small-scale underground gold operation into the fold.

The Woods Point Gold Project, formerly explored and managed under AuStar’s banner, covers 670 square kilometres in one of Victoria’s largest historical goldfields.
