BlackEarth Minerals NL (ASX:BEM) has strengthened its board with financial and corporate experience that the appointment of chief financial officer (CFO) David Round as finance director.
In addition, the company announced the resignation of founding director and chairman, Phil Hearse from the board.

International resource experience
Round has extensive experience as a CFO and company director, and most recently was CFO and head of sales of an Australian-listed graphite production company.
He has wide-spread international resource experience and brings a wealth of graphite, nickel and other business development knowledge to the board.
Hearse to focus on other interests
Hearse is leaving the company to focus on other business interests.
He joined the board of BlackEarth prior to its admission to the ASX and, together with the other directors, has been instrumental in the company’s development to date.
