() managing director Ed Turner updates Proactive on results received from shallow drilling at the Menzies Gold Project in Western Australia.
Turner said the company was about halfway through a 10,000-metre resource definition program after receiving the first batch of assays for 35 holes earlier this week.
He said: “Every other hole intersected high-grade mineralisation, so we’re very happy with those results.”
A further 58 RC holes are planned as well as around 3,000 metres of exploration drilling at various Menzies targets, which is targeted for completion by the end of the year.
