Lithium Australia NL (ASX:LIT) managing director Adrian Griffin tells Proactive about a recent deal for battery recycling subsidiary Envirostream for the supply of spent EV batteries.
Griffin said Lithium Australia was the only company in Australia at the moment capable of recycling EV batteries, having undertaken several test runs to recycle the components "showing that we can go full cycle".
The company’s joint venture Soluna Australia Pty Ltd has also received the green light to install its three-phase battery energy storage system using the Clean Energy Council’s Better Practice Guide.
