TNT Mines Ltd (ASX:TIN) has received further high-grade uranium and vanadium results from sampling at the Bonanza workings of the 100%-owned East Canyon Uranium-Vanadium Project, in southeast Utah, USA.
During the recently completed exploration channel sampling program visible uranium and vanadium mineralisation was observed throughout the None Such and Bonanza workings.
High-grade results from underground channel sampling at Bonanza include;
- 1.25 metres at 0.26% uranium and 1.68% vanadium;
- 1-metre at 0.20% uranium and 1.89% vanadium;
- 1-metre at 0.19% uranium and 1.08% vanadium;
- 0.76 metres at 0.17% uranium and 3.86% vanadium;
- 1.25 metres at 0.16% uranium and 0.82% vanadium; and
- 1-metre at 0.14% uranium and 4.50% vanadium.
The Bonanza results build upon the success of initial sample results at None Such, where underground channel sample grades were reported up to 0.35% uranium.

More assays pending
Two further underground channel sample assays are pending and were delayed due to radiation limits exceeding labs threshold.
These samples required special packaging before being transported to the ALS facility in Vancouver, Canada, which is suitably configured to handle samples of this nature.
The remaining Bonanza assays, along with the remaining three samples from None Such are expected to be received in the coming weeks.
Exploration drilling program
TNT is encouraged by these results and is confident that the current testing program has demonstrated the potential of the East Canyon Project to host extensive high-grade uranium and vanadium mineralisation.
Given the multiple historic mine workings scattered throughout the East Canyon project claims, the company is immediately moving forward with planning and the permitting process for a first phase exploration drilling program to define the prospectivity of the East Canyon project.
The exploration drilling program will be finalised once all results from the initial program have been received and interpreted and is expected to commence in quarter four 2020.
