“Keith has expertise in capital raising, corporate governance, audit and risk management.
“With the company’s recent successful rights issue and focusing on our La Paz Rare Earth Project, our board has the right mix of skills to provide guidance and oversight as we focus on development.”
Middleton is currently a non-executive director of Redbank Copper (ASX:RCP) and regional executive with the Housing Industry Association.
He previously held roles including Orminex (ASX:ONX) corporate advisor, was the founding director of SA Capital, and director of Proto Resources and Investments during the period it was listed.
Company name change
The company is refocusing on US operations, leading to a decision to change the company name to American Rare Earth Limited for which the ASX ticker code ARR is reserved.
BPL believes that localising the management and operations in the US is an important step in ensuring the enhancement of value of the La Paz project in Arizona and the overall business.
Upon completion of the initial exploration program and updated resource estimate, a scoping study will be commenced with the aim of accelerating the project into development and subsequent production.
