Venus Metals Corporation Ltd (ASX:VMC) expects to soon commence an Xcite Heli-borne electromagnetic survey (HEM) at the Bellchambers Gold Project in Western Australia.
The HEM survey is aimed at delineating potential conductor targets for follow-up exploration along the Western Ridge Gold Trend.
Any discovered conductor targets may be associated with gold mineralisation similar to that encountered at the 17,000-ounce Bellchambers gold deposit which has a grade of 1.5 g/t.
Fast-tracking gold mining at Bellchambers
The JORC compliant resource was calculated at Bellchambers as part of the process to fast-track potential gold mining at the deposit.
Initial negotiations have commenced with Adaman Resources regarding possible mining and treatment of oxide gold mineralization from the Bellchambers Gold deposit.
Adaman Resources is an unlisted company that operates the Kirkalocka gold processing plant.
Drill samples have been provided to Adaman Resources for metallurgical testing.
Application to expand project
Venus has also applied for a new exploration licence (ELA 57/1152) directly west of the project, which covers 20 kilometres of strike along the northern extension of the prospective Youanmi Shear Zone.
