Cipherpoint Ltd (ASX:CPT) has signed a new channel partnership with IT services company total eBiz Solutions (TeBS) based in Singapore.
Both companies have been working extensively on opportunities using Cipherpoint’s discovery and classification tools (cp.Discover) to assist TeBS customers to reduce the cost of data management and compliance by obtaining a detailed understanding of the data buried in files and documents.
Understanding this data enables more cost-effective compliance and data migration projects.
Cipherpoint's customers, which span across the public sector, defence, aerospace, technology, automotive, finance and media industries, have chosen cp.Protect and cp.Discover to find their most sensitive data and secure their corporate Microsoft environments.
Digital transformation journey
Cipherpoint executive chairman Ted Pretty said: “Cipherpoint’s data discovery and protection solutions provide a vital foundation for any customer’s digital transformation journey.
“Ultimately they help address core business issues of reducing risk and compliance with the bonus being that in many cases IT cost savings can largely offset the cost.
“Historically Cipherpoint has found success in data-sensitive industries in the US and Europe so it is great to be able to extend our reach in Singapore, which is a market known for requiring market-leading levels of compliance and security”.
Partnership an “an excellent opportunity”
TeBS CEO Radhakrishna Bijjala said: “Total eBiz Solutions is a trusted IT services company that specialises in enhancing business productivity through digital transformation.
“Our partnership with Cipherpoint will provide an excellent opportunity to enhance compliance and security as we help them transform.
“We have already secured opportunities with customers who are transitioning their data to the cloud and preparing it for use in refined, post-transformation workflows.
“We expect to sign formal orders shortly.”
