Blackham Resources Ltd - Blackham Resources gets off to strong start with reserve expansion drilling
The drilling program also aims to upgrade and extend the Stage 1 sulphide mine plan

Blackham Resources Ltd (ASX:BLK) has received positive initial results from sulphide reserve expansion drilling at the Wiluna Gold Project in Western Australia.

The infill drilling commenced at the Essex zone at Wiluna, with 8 holes for 1,589 metres completed.

Initial results include an outstanding intercept of 26 metres at 15.69 g/t from 182 metres.

Results show that this area hosts shallow, high-grade gold that can readily be developed.

Drilling is, therefore, targeting high-grade zones anticipated to be mined early in the mine plan, which are located close to surface and close to existing underground infrastructure.

RC drilling also at Bulletin zone

RC drilling has also progressed to Blackham’s very large inferred sulphide resource at the Bulletin zone.

Drilling will test modelled locations for the discovery of high-grade gold shoots with further results expected in the coming weeks.

Drilling also at Golden Age

Blackham also continues to extend the high-grade free-milling Golden Age orebody to sustain or increase production over the next 12-18 months.

Phase 1 drilling at Golden Age has comprised a further 8 holes for 412 metres targeted at the 1148 level of the mine with results including 0.84 metres at 74.90 g/t and 1.44 metres at 52.13 g/t gold.
