Shares in the company last traded at 58 cents per share

Danakali Ltd (ASX:DNK) non-executive chairman Seamus Cornelius has purchased 14,870 shares for $8,564 through on-market trades.

This purchase follows a similar purchase the day earlier, which saw Cornelius pick up 62,960 shares valued at more than $35,700.

The chairman now holds over 9.08 million shares in the company.

EPCM process underway

Danakali has entered the first phase of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) process at the world-class Colluli Sulphate of Potash (SOP) Project in Eritrea.

The board of Colluli Mining Share Company (CMSC), which holds the project and is 50%-owned by Danakali, has approved the establishment of the Owner’s Project Team.
