Argosy Minerals Ltd (ASX:AGY) non-executive director Mal Randall has acquired 2 million shares in the company for $90,000.

The acquisition is the result of the exercise of 2 million 4.5-cent options and increases Randall’s holding in the company to 5.32 million shares.

Lithium carbonate shipment planned

Earlier this month, Argosy revealed it was planning a trial shipment of 5 tonnes of lithium carbonate from its industrial-scale pilot plant operations in Argentina.

The shipment is planned for early 2020 and will be delivering product as part of the sales agreement signed in March 2019.

The feed for the pilot plant comes from Argosy’s flagship Rincon Lithium Project in Argentina.
