The 3,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drill program will target the Princess Royal and Mullaby prospects and be testing recently identified priority conductor targets.
First hole to be complete by holiday break
Ausmex’s executive Director & COO Geoff Kidd said: “Ausmex have started on an exciting drilling program to test the priority MT targets at Princess Royal.
Although the start of drilling was delayed, we are pleased to have commenced prior to the Christmas Season.
“We anticipate completing the first hole ahead of the Christmas/New Year break and prior to the predicted low to mid-40s Celsius weather this week, which may lead to the imposition of Total Fire Ban days, when we are prevented from further work.
“Drilling will recommence mid-January 2020.”
