The work remains on schedule with completion expected by early December in order to receive the production from Rex-3, in addition to the existing wells, Rex-1 and Rex-2.
Rex-3 is the third horizontal well to be drilled and is located on the same drill pad as Rex-1 and Rex-2.
The recently drilled Rex-3 well has encountered superior reservoir qualities to Rex2, which is already a high-quality well.
Expanding facilities and building new pipeline
The expanded facilities will be capable of handling 5,000 barrels of fluid a day along with 5mmcfd of gas.
Oil will continue to be trucked to market while gas will be sent to a nearby processing plant via the gas pipeline currently under construction.
The aerial picture below shows the Wizard Lake facilities as well as the pathway for the pipeline being built.
