Arafura Resources participates in critical minerals meetings in Washington DC

Arafura Resources Limited (ASX:ARU) managing director Gavin Lockyer updates Proactive on his participation in high-level critical minerals meetings in Washington DC last week.

This was part of a delegation arranged by Federal Resources Minister Matt Canavan’s to meet US government officials in order to address the rare earths crisis.

It followed meetings between US President Donald Trump and the Australian Government a few months back to discuss China's control of around 80% of global trade in rare earths and critical minerals.

Lockyer spoke about the initiatives being taken to address the problem and its impact on Arafura and the local rare earths industry.
