Kin Mining NL (ASX:KIN) directors have increased their stake in the company by participating in a rights issue at a price of 3.5 cents per share.

Kin recently received positive assays from a regional rock chip sampling program at its Cardinia Gold Project (CGP), which highlighted volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS)-style mineralisation in the project’s surrounding regions.

The returned assays from the October 2019 sampling program featured standout gradings such as 895 g/t and 277 g/t gold.

Kin said ironstone and sulphidic sediment samples from the 87-sample campaign had produced grades of 28.7, 15.1, 9.6 and 8.9 g/t gold.

Sulphidic quartz vein and breccia samples featured gradings such as 56.5, 27.0, 22.8 and 21.2 g/t gold.
