Hollandaire is located on exploration tenements E20/699 and E20/629 which form part of the Cue Copper Project, a joint venture with Cyprium Metals Ltd (ASX:CYM).
The phase I reverse circulation (RC) extensional program focused on testing for shallow extensions to copper mineralisation at Hollandaire West.
- 5 metres at 2.3% copper from 50 metres including 3 metres at 3.4% copper, 0.3 g/t gold and 13.3 g/t silver;
- 12 metres at 1.3% copper from 101 metres;
- 19 metres at 1.1% copper from 106 metres; and
- 30 metres at 0.7% copper from 77 metres.
Notably, the majority of the intersections are less than 100 metres vertical depth making the copper mineralisation potentially open-pittable.
Further assays and metallurgy results pending
The remaining assays from phase I drilling are pending and when received will be combined with these results to design the phase II drill program.
Phase II drill holes will follow up on the phase I intersections, particularly where the mineralisation remains open.
Concurrently, other targets in the tenements are being reviewed so that when the rig is mobilised to complete phase II drilling, it can also undertake drilling into the higher priority regional targets.
Metallurgy test work is also being conducted on drill core with results expected in October 2019.
