Twenty Seven Co Ltd (ASX:TSC) is focused on exploring the unique and highly prospective 460 square kilometre Rover Project in WA’s goldfields.
A 12-kilometre prospective gold strike, part of the Maynard Hills greenstone belt, is TSC’s current focus area for gold/base metals exploration.
Recent assay results from the Creasy targets within the Rover Project has confirmed volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) style geology.
Rock chip assays from Creasy 2 showed an encouraging coincident zone of zinc-lead anomalism over a 200-metre strike length.
Assay results from TSC’s August 2019 field trip
TSC believes Creasy 2 is prospective for VMS style mineralisation, similar to private group Cobre’s recent discovery at the Perrinvale Project 20 kilometres south of Rover.
It is worth noting that recent discoveries by Spectrum Minerals (ASX:SPX), St George Mining (ASX:SGQ) and Cobre have underpinned a resurgence of exploration activity in the Central Yilgarn region.
Priority targets for upcoming drilling campaign
Once TSC’s geophysicist consultant has concluded analysing detailed aeromagnetic data, it will be reconciled with the recent geochemistry results.
The geology team will then be well placed to formulate inaugural drilling campaigns for Creasy 2 & 3.
Key targets will be for VMS style mineralisation and Archean gold along the prospective 12-kilometre strike.
However, the first priority before 2019-end is Creasy 1, which is the most advanced prospect within the Rover Project.
Seeking strategic partners for NSW projects
TSC’s two projects in the Broken Hill Block – Midas and Perseus – are prospective for iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) mineralisation.
While the geology team has done significant work on both projects identifying targets, TSC is seeking strategic partners to fund further development.
