Gas Turbine Efficiency signs five year agreement with subsidiary of Caterpillar

Gas Turbine Efficiency (AIM:GTE), the supplier of gas turbine cleaning systems, said that it had signed a five year agreement with Solar Turbines Incorporated (STI). STI is a division of US blue chip company Caterpillar.

The agreement will see GTE develop, manufacture and supply gas turbine cleaning systems for the internal cleaning of Solar's entire range of turbines.

Steven Zwolinski, CEO added: "We are delighted to be working closely with Solar to develop value solutions that contribute to fuel efficiency and emissions reductions for end customers".

Shares in GTE jumped 16.5% to 60p.
