Animoca Brands signs multiple blockchain agreements, aims to be ‘leader in blockchain’

Animoca Brands Corporation Ltd (ASX:AB1) co-founder and chairman Yat Siu speaks to Proactive Investors about the software developer’s recent investment deals with blockchain-focused companies and its strategic approach to becoming a major player in the emerging sector.

The mutual investment agreements – signed with Mind Fund Group Ltd, Datum, LikeCoin, Musicoin, OST, Harmony and I-House – will advance the introduction of blockchain products to mass consumer markets.

“Animoca Brands is basically building up to become a leader in blockchain in general, of course especially in the gaming space,” Siu says.

He continues, “it’s kind of difficult to do that just by itself – it is a very large industry that we are addressing, so partnership with 7 esteemed blockchain companies will help us accelerate that in a big way.”
