Tinka Resources Ltd (CVE:TK) chief executive Dr Graham Carman updates Proactive Investors on drilling results flowing from the company's flagship Ayawilca zinc and tin project in Peru. This year alone Tinka has drilled around 20,000 metres across the project area, adding to 46,000 metres drilled since the initial discovery. As a result, new discoveries have been made.
"It's one of the largest zinc resources in the world, in a junior company, and we think it's going to be a mine," says Carman.
A resource update is slated to be announced in a matter of weeks, with a PEA planned for the start of next year.
