Piedmont Lithium Limited (ASX: PLL; NASDAQ: PLLL) CEO Keith Phillips tells Proactive's Christine Corrado that the lithium exploration company, founded in Australia two years ago by investment and management company Apollo Group, is setting its sights on North Carolina.
Phillips says the company has been very aggressively building a land package and drilling in North Carolina's Tin-Spodumene belt, located 30 miles west of Charlotte.
Most recently, the company drilled around 35,000 meters into the project, identifying a high-grade mineral resource in June. Phillips says the company has stopped drilling for now as they work on identifying other drill targets to increase the resource, as well as an amendment to the company's scoping study in September.
