US expansion represents huge opportunity in a growing market for DorsaVi

We are all familiar with wearable technology such as Fitbit and the Apple Watch, but wearable technology has uses far beyond organising our live and tracking our exercise.

DorsaVi (ASX:DVL) has a range of revolutionary wearable sensor technology that is used in workplaces to reduce worker injuries, in clinical settings and in the field of sports performance.

"We wanted to capture the exact way people move... we've got FDA cleared wearable sensors that give expert information to the people who use them. Our two main markets are in the clinical market, it might be with physiotherapists or orthopaedic surgeons using it in their clinical world, or in the workplace market, where you're able to understand how people move in the workplace and where the risks are coming from, and what they may be able to do to reduce those risks," explains DorsaVi CEO Andrew Ronchi.

There is a trend towards prevention of worker injury rather than treatment of problems after they occur and DorsaVi is leading the way in the field with its movement analysis products.
