Michael Laurier, chief executive of Symphony Environmental PLC () spoke to Proactive's Andrew Scott to address some of the concerns which have been raised in recent media reports around their oxo-biodegradable technology.
Laurier says their d2w additive has been scientifically proven to help reduce dwell-time of plastic that escapes recycling and ends up in the open environment.
He adds that 90% of the company's sales are currently outside of the UK and Europe and in economies that have little or no recycling or collection systems.
