Symphony Environmental still convinced it has 'silver bullet' to global plastic problem

Michael Laurier, chief executive of Symphony Environmental PLC (LON:SYM) spoke to Proactive's Andrew Scott to address some of the concerns which have been raised in recent media reports around their oxo-biodegradable technology.

Laurier says their d2w additive has been scientifically proven to help reduce dwell-time of plastic that escapes recycling and ends up in the open environment.

He adds that 90% of the company's  sales are currently outside of the UK and Europe and in economies that have little or no recycling or collection systems.
