Leaseum Partners to launch blockchain based real estate investment fund

Leaseum Partners' Steve Sillam gives some detail around their plans to launch a real estate fund based on commercial property in New York using blockchain.

''It'll bring more liquidity into what's traditionally an illiquid asset class because now when investors want to buy into real estate they can either go direct or they can invest through funds ... so tokens effectively will be digital shares in a real estate fund''.

''We are raising a 10 year fund, $250mln target which will bring improved liquidity because the token's going to be listed on regulated exchanges and therefore investors will be able to buy and sell tokens ... so they can enter or exit the fund at any time''.
