Copper price under threat as US-China trade war kicks off

Mining Capital's Alastair Ford discusses the threat facing commodity markets - copper in particular - as tensions between the US and China heat up after US tariffs on $34bln worth of Chinese imports came into effect.

Ford says despite the concerns there are still opportunities to be had for investors.

''We still have some junior copper miners that are significantly undervalued, attractive as a turnaround story or for other reasons''.

He mentions Kincora Copper Ltd (CVE:KCC), Asiamet Resources Ltd (LON:ARS), Central Asia Metals PLC (LON:CAML) and Savannah Resources Plc (LON:SAV).
