Esports Entertainment Group Inc (OTCMKTS:GMBL), the licensed online gambling company that has a focus on esports wagering and 18+ gaming, has big plans for the year ahead. CEO Grant Johnson tells Proactive Investors the company hopes to have its financing completed, publicly-listed on the NASDAQ and have all of its platforms fully functioning within the year.

The recent news from the US Supreme Court overturning sports betting is good news for the company, says Johnson as they look to expand further into the US.

In March, the company announced the Launch Of VIE.GG, a secure, transparent esports wagering platform. Johnson says they now have 110 affiliates marketing its product online, in five different languages. The company is also aiming to launch a tournament platform later this year.

As the company looks to further expand into the mammoth US market, it recently appointed Geoff Bough as Strategic Advisor. Bough has an extensive background in online gaming and both the esports and sports worlds.
