Belvoir Lettings in good shape as profits hit another record

Dorian Gonsalves talks to Proactive

Dorian Gonsalves, Belvoir Lettings PLC's (LON:BLV) chief executive, explains how the letting agency achieved a 21st consecutive year of underlying profit growth.
Rivals may be struggling, but Gonsalves says its franchisees are dynamic, motivated people, who are looking to grow their businesses.
The rental market will grow over the next five years, he adds, while the number of letting agents is set to fall, which plays into the hands of Belvoir's franchisees.
A ban on tenant's fees and tougher qualification requirements for agents will further shake-up the market and offer more opportunities, he believes.
Shareholders, meanwhile, get a higher final dividend.
