North Korea's nuclear rhetoric fuelling excitement around Lithium

Mining Capital's Alastair Ford discusses with Proactive's Andrew Scott the recent violence in Charlottesville in the US, the ongoing war of words between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un and the impact they've had on the gold price.

Gold aside, Ford says should there be a nuclear event people will need power and electricity storage ... which is where Lithium comes in.

He says it'll likely be used to create batteries to power homes independently and off-grid.

''Should the situation become fraught and dangerous a lot of the people who like to withdraw from the federal government ... will be buying large lithium batteries to power their homes independently of all interference and hoping to live a life of liberty and justice''.
