Active Energy’s JV partner BEE talks through biomass tech

Chas Fritz, ‎chief executive at Biomass Energy Enhancements (BEE) - Active Energy’s (LON:AEG) joint venture partner – comments on the company’s new manufacturing process that allows biomass to be burned in unconverted coal-fired power stations.

Both Active and Utah-based BEE have teamed up to form AEG CoalSwitch and will work on the roll out and marketing of the fuel processing system, which Active reckons it is a “game changer".

AEG CoalSwitch is aiming to have a market-ready product - a system capable of producing high volumes of clean energy coal switch biomass fuel - by mid next year.
