RNC's shares jumped 13.5% on Thursday morning in Toronto to C$0.59.
Shareholders elected six directors: Peter Goudie, Scott M. Hand, Paul Huet, Wendy Kei, Frank Marzoli and Warwick Morley-Jepson.
The firm noted PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has been re-appointed as auditor of the company for the next year. Shareholders also included RNC's share incentive plan.
The Toronto-based company has a number of assets, which include 100% ownership of the producing Beta Hunt gold and nickel mine in Western Australia as well as a stake 28% stake in the JV that owns the Dumont Nickel Project located in the established Abitibi mining camp in Quebec.
Earlier this week, the firm announced it had been added to a prestigious junior gold miner index. The MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index tracks the performance of the most liquid junior companies in the gold and silver mining industry.
In order to qualify, companies must have a full market capitalization of at least US$150 million, a three-month average daily trading volume of at least US$1 million and at minimum 250,000 shares traded per month over the last six months.
