Braveheart is planning to release its full year results for the year ended 31 March in late July

Braveheart Investment Group PLC (LON:BRH) has issued an update on its investment portfolio and accounts ahead of the release of its final results.

The fund manager said it now holds five strategic investments in its portfolio alongside other historical investments.

These included biotechnology firm Kirkstall, UV light detection group Paraytec, propeller and rotating shaft monitoring group Gyrometric Systems, microscope imaging firm PhaseFocus and Sentinel Medical, a spin out of Paraytec developing technology to detect cancer cells in urine.

Braveheart added that the audit of its accounts for the year ended 31 March 2019 was proceeding, although - as noted in its interim results in September - the process will take longer than previous years owing to added complications from consolidating accounts from Kirkstall and Paraytec due to the company owning over 50% of both.

The company said it planned to release its full year results for the year in late July, with its AGM to follow in late August.

In late-morning trading on Friday, Braveheart shares were steady at 11.3p.
