Vault Intelligence’s new chairman has experience in technology sector

Vault Intelligence has appointed a new chairman

Vault Intelligence Ltd (ASX:VLT) has appointed highly respected SaaS strategist and experienced business leader Ross Jenkins as new chairman of the company’s board.

Jenkins has operated in corporate and high-growth small businesses and has experience as a director in the technology sector.

He has led a number of technology companies on high growth trajectories and has accomplished much in the sector.

This experience is expected to help guide the leading SaaS business, which delivers solutions in the risk, environment, health and safety (EHS) sector, as it continues and enhances a period of strong growth.

Shares are up 12.5% to 18 cents.

Executive roles at Xero

Jenkins was a senior operations executive at cloud software company Xero Limited (ASX:XRO) for five years where he served as chief financial officer and chief operations officer.

He was also founding board member of New Zealand's first ASP, Appserv, and New Zealand's first remote DBA service, SQL Services.

Vault’s new chairman has more than 30 years of industry experience and has taken on advisor roles to organisations such as Datastor (now Westcon) and Plexure plus executive roles with ComputerLand, GDC and Onesource (Konica Minolta and Cogent).

He is executive director of The Instillery, a successful ‘cloud’ technology company, and chairs the Advisory Board of Earshot.

Jenkins also has a range of investments in technology-related private companies.

Vault recently signed an MOU with Jurong Port for the implementation of its Solo software security solution.

Solo is an environmental, health and safety solution that aims to enhance operational efficiency, employee safety, security and welfare across the port.

Vault’s cloud-based systems provide clients with the benefits of cost savings driven by productivity through the availability of real-time information to monitor, maintain and improve their businesses.
