American Rebel is positioning itself as America's patriotic brand and its initial product offering is its line of concealed carry products, which were launched at the 2017 National Rifle Association annual meeting. The company has identified the market opportunity to design, manufacture, and market innovative concealed carry products.
American Rebel is also expanding into gun safes and will offer large floor safes, wall safes, and personal safes in 2019.
By participating in the trade show, the company exploited the opportunity to expand its dealer network to 48 new locations.
“I got a chance to update buyers I had worked with when I was at Liberty Safe and introduce them to American Rebel,” said Nathan Findley, president of American Rebel’s Kansas City operations. “As a result of the Spring Market, American Rebel has established a presence in 48 dealer locations and internet powerhouse Optics Planet and their three distribution warehouses.”
Findley said that this created “a foothold” for the brand, which is enjoying traction as its products are designed carefully and are more fashionable than the stock camo print and neon concealed carry product of its competitors.
“Safes are a core product in stores that carry products for the shooting sports,” said American Rebel CEO Andy Ross. “And we believe that our safes and our concealed carry line work well together to keep our customers concealed and safe inside and outside the home.”
Ross said that being at the Spring Buying Market gave credibility to American Rebel as a vendor.
“In return, we know dealers that attend NBS have been vetted and qualified as a member and are committed to standards and volume, and they attend the market in Fort Worth to write orders,” said Ross.
Nation’s Best Sports (NBS) is a national sporting goods buying group established in 1956. It has more than 350 independent retail members representing over 1,200 store fronts across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.
American Rebel, which is building a patriotic brand by embracing its connection to the heartland, has offices in Nashville, Tennessee and Kansas City.
