ShareRoot Ltd (ASX:SRO) has appointed Marat Basyrov as a non-executive director of the company, succeeding Noah Abelson-Gertler who has retired as director and chief executive officer.
Basyrov is an experienced software engineer with a track record of success in developing and commercialising novel technologies across several sectors and brings a deep understanding of the market to the ShareRoot board at a key point in time for the organisation.

ShareRoot chairman Harvey Kaplan said: “The board and management are delighted to welcome Mr Basyrov to the board and look forward working with him, utilising his knowledge and valuable professional network.”
The company recently conducted a technology audit and strategy review that resulted in a reduction of overall operational costs for the business.
Additional improved return from the company’s assets and abilities were identified as well as a clear market opportunity that has the potential to substantially increase ShareRoot’s revenue in the future.

ShareRoot entered into a collaboration that will see its MediaConsent platform used in a cancer clinical trial setting.
The collaboration is with Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) and the medical project is being led by The Social Science (TSS), a social and digital media marketing company.
