Crews completed a systematic program, which resulted in 2015 soil samples and 293 rock chip samples, it said.
The company has now identified four distinct prospects for follow up, it added.
"We are very pleased to be able to advance the Blackbird Creek Project to drill-ready status, with so many quality targets for our 2019 field season," said Tim Johnson, the chief executive of International Cobalt.
"These results, combined with other news releases from the Idaho Cobalt Belt, including the recent press release by First Cobalt, our neighbours 20km to the south, reinforces the world-class nature of the belt."
The prospects are the Raven prospect, which has returned 16 samples with grades over 1% cobalt and a high of 5.88%.
At the Ludwig zone, there was a continuous 9.0-metre channel sample, which returned an average of 0.27% Co including 4 metres of 0.53% Cobalt.
At Copper Hill, soil sampling has defined a large 1200 metre by 800-metre copper anomaly averaging 400 ppm (parts per million) copper from 125 samples.
