Lucky Minerals Inc (CVE:LJ, OTCQB:LKMNF) is advancing its Fortuna project in Ecuador, which is in the heart of elephant country, surrounded by many multi-million ounce gold projects.
Fortune consists of 12 contiguous concessions totaling around 54,985 hectares (550 sq km) and is on similar trending structures as Lundin Gold's Fruta del Norte project, which has 9.48mln ounces of the yello metal (indicated and inferred).
In the neighbourhood is also SolGold's Cascabel project, at 7.4mln tonnes of copper equivalent, and China National Rail Mirador project, at 2.7mln ounces gold and 5.9bn pounds of copper (measured and indicated) deposit.
Lucky also is developing the Emigrant copper, gold, moly project in Montana, which is a potential multi-million ounce gold project in an around 2bn plus tonne porphyry system.
So far, six copper-gold-molybdenum-silver deposits have been identified within a six sq mile area at Emigrant Creek, Montana.
Each individual area within the claim blocks shows significant potential to host between 100 and 300nln tonne plus deposits of copper-gold silver halo deposits with a molybdenum core.
